BarkBox is a dog toy subscription box that delivers new toys, treats, and other surprises for your pets. This tail-wagging monthly box for dogs delivers full of goodies that take on a fun new theme every month. The classic assortment included in a box is two toys, two treats, and one chew. Each box includes more than $40 worth of items. Say bye-bye to boredom!
You can choose from three plans:
Monthly: $35, renewed every month
Bi-yearly: $139, renewed every six months
Yearly: $234, renewed once every year
Now let’s talk about the good stuff!
Boxes are crafted for three different furry friend categories: small for dogs under 20 pounds, medium for dogs 20 to 50 pounds, and large for dogs over 50 pounds. If you’re unsure of which one to choose, BarkBox recommends sizing up. There’s also a super small box for pups under nine pounds. Contact BarkBox here to request that special size.
After your first box, you can change up the contents to better suit your dog’s likes and dislikes. BarkBox can accommodate different allergy and diet needs, too, for pups with sensitive stomachs.
Made for those with extra strong teeth who love to rip, the Super Chewer boxes come with two tough toys, two treats and two chews. Because the toys are made with more durable materials for champion chompers, these boxes cost more than the normal ones. Each includes more than $45 worth of items.
Here are the plan prices:
Monthly: $45, renewed every month
Bi-yearly: $210, renewed every six months
Yearly: $360, renewed once every year
Boxes are normally shipped within the first two weeks of any given month. Your dog’s goodies typically take two to three days to ship and an additional two to eight days to arrive on your doorstep. They’re currently available for delivery to those in the United States, Canada and Australia.
You can end your subscription at any time, and boxes will no longer ship once your plan ends.
Our furry friends are truly part of the family. I couldn’t imagine life without my 6-year-old cat Lucy, who makes every day sweeter. The same goes for my parents’ Goldendoodle Chloe, who was the silliest dog you’d ever meet. We spoiled her with rawhides and Bottle Buddies (if you know, you know), but having unique toys delivered right to our door would’ve been convenient–and not to mention adorable. If you’re on the fence about subscribing, never fear–you can shop BarkBox favorites individually on their e-commerce website here and see how your pup likes them. Pet owners can also find BarkBox toys at places like Target, Urban Outfitters, Meijer and Bluestone Lane.
The themes change monthly, but past themes include Sweetie Pie’s Bakery, Squeakaway Camp, Barkfest in Bed and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer–each box is a surprise.
