It seems like celebrity beauty, and skincare brands are popping up one after the other these days, and for some, I really do not know why they exist (ahem, Outset by Scarlett Johansson and Item Beauty by Addison Rae). But others have hit the target, like Fenty by Rihanna, about-face by Halsey, and now, Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez. Rare has succeeded in creating effective, beautiful, and accessible products, and editors are raving about them. I’m waiting on the edge of my seat for Rare to be available at Ulta. Please, please, please! In the meantime, here are 14 must-have Rare Beauty makeup items we’ve been eyeing.

Top Rare Beauty Products:

This is the place to start if you’re looking to try your hand at liquid blush. The Soft Pinch Liquid Blush has hit cult status because of its intense pigment, ultra-blendable formula, and range of shades–plus, you can snag it in both dewy and matte finishes. Because I have oily skin, I’m all matte, all the time, and the shade “Bliss” is a dream come true. The blush has a whopping 771,900 “loves” on the Sephora website. That’s impressive.

The Perfect Strokes Matte Liquid Liner has a flexible tip with over 1,000 bristles for a precise cat eye (or whatever look you’re dreaming up next). The waterproof formula dries down instantly in the blackest black shade. Make sure to shake the pen to keep it fresh and smooth.

The Always an Optimist Pore Diffusing Primer is best for folks with oily skin. The gel formula, made with hyaluronic acid, green tea extract, and vitamin E, works to absorb shine and fill in pores, whether you’re wearing it under makeup or alone. One reviewer, who said they have acne scars from their 20s and left large pores, said no other primers have worked in covering everything, and this one is flawless.

The Perfect Strokes Mascara has an eye-hugging brush to make your lashes go sky-high. It has castor oil, which works to condition and nourishes your lashes while also giving them serious volume. This one I’ve linked here is a miniature size that’ll fit easily into any makeup bag or purse, but there’s also a bigger size if that’s what you’re looking for.

Next up is the Liquid Touch Foundation, which has a serum-like formula for easy blending. It provides medium coverage and a natural finish. Let’s also take a moment to recognize the packaging of these items. Everything is minimalistic and oh-so-gorgeous and designed to create more inclusivity in the beauty space. Most of Rare’s products, like this foundation, are in clear bottles with screw lids that have a ball on top so users with arthritis, like Gomez herself, can open them with ease.

Pair your new foundation with the Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer. It comes in the same 48 shades as the foundation, so you’ll always have your perfect match. The radiant concealer hides dark circles, redness, and blemishes and leaves a “your skin but better” look. One reviewer said the product deserves more than five stars–it deserves 10 or 20! Sold.

Applying concealer in the corners of your eyes and nostrils can be tricky business. The Liquid Touch Concealer Brush is shaped like a finger and has dense bristles to buff away streaks. This is also your weekly reminder to wash your brushes to prevent the spread of bacteria and germs, even if you don’t do your makeup that often. You can click here for a helpful guide.

The Lip Soufflé Matte Cream Lipstick really is a dessert in the form of makeup. It has an air-whipped formula with Rare’s signature botanical blend of lotus, gardenia, and vitamin E that glides on like a dream. The rich color hydrates while not being too heavy on the lips. The bright red shade called “Inspire” reminds me of the iconic Fenty Stunna Lip Paint in “Uncensored.”

Do it all with one swipe using the Kind Words Lip Liner. This liner is creamy, smooth and has a balm-like glide but still locks lipstick in place. It comes in the same 10 matte shades as the Kind Words Matte Lipstick. The best part? There’s a built-in sharpener so you never have to worry about the retractable tip getting dull.

Doesn’t this look good enough to eat? An Allure Best of Beauty winner, the Stay Vulnerable Melting Cream Blush blends like a dream and won’t cake, crease, or clog your pores. Make sure you’re setting with powder and/or using setting spray to lock it in for all-day wear. It’s light coverage and a satin finish, so it’s a pop of color you can’t mess up.

Rare Beauty has only released a few eyeshadow palettes so far, but I can’t wait to see what they release next. The Confident Energy palette is “inspired by the light and energy that surrounds us” and features six creamy shades for bold looks. It comes with a mirror, which is always a plus, and it’s small enough that traveling with it won’t be too much of a headache.

Where are my lip balm collectors out there? I have waaaaaay too many, but they’re so enticing I can’t resist. The With Gratitude Dewy Lip Balm, made with shea butter, lotus, gardenia, and white waterlily, comes in eight different shades. It’s a light wash of color, so you can build it up as you see fit.

The Brow Harmony Shape & Fill Duo is a double–no, wait, triple–threat. The waterproof putty goes on creamy and sets as a powder finish (without the fallout), so you can define your brows to your heart’s content. It comes with a tool that doubles as a brush and a spoolie, and the case itself is super travel-friendly. One reviewer said the color lasts all day, even on hot summer afternoons.

Last but definitely not least is the Stay Vulnerable Glossy Balm. It’s both a lip mask and a lip gloss with a comfortable cushiony feel that’s perfect for no-makeup days when you want a little something fun. It’s a cream formula with a beautiful satin finish.
