When I’m having a busy day at work, whether it’s in the office or at home, Chipotle delivery is my go-to for a fast, easy dinner. The chain first released its apparel line last August, offering fans everything from phone cases to camisoles to a duffel bag that looks exactly like a wrapped burrito – yes, really. Chipotle upped its game and recently released more clothes for us to swoon over. The upcycled Avocado Tie Dye Collection means you can have your guacamole and eat it too, with an extra dose of style. It’s a welcome addition to the delicious items that are already available for purchase (P.S., this long sleeve T-shirt that lists your exact Chipotle order is our favorite from the previous clothing launch).
Upcycling, for those who don’t know, is the process of taking by-products and waste materials and turning them into something of greater quality. In this case, Chipotle is using avocado pits from its restaurants during the natural dye process, and because color can vary during that transformation, each dark pink garment is one-of-a-kind. The use of 100% organic cotton reduces water usage and waste, which is always a plus in our book.
Our Favorites from the Tie Dye Collection
It may be a long while before you can introduce your kid to Chipotle, but why not buy this onesie so they can be the most adorable burrito fan-in-training? It’s unisex sizing and there’s a sizing guide for new parents who are nervous about finding the right fit. The onesie has the Chipotle logo front and center and a smaller one on the sleeve.
The Avocado Tie Dye Short Sleeve T-Shirt helps you show off your love for all things chips, queso and quesadillas (I’m a chicken burrito bowl kind of girl, BTW). It’s 100% Instagram-worthy. The white and dark blush colors will look good in any picture, especially with the aesthetic Chipotle logo emblazoned across the front.
Keep your ears warm this coming winter with the ultra comfortable Avocado Tie Dye Beanie. The unisex, slim fit hat is a retro addition to any wardrobe. It’s made from 100% organic cotton and has a Chipotle patch on the front.
You can never have too many crewnecks…at least that’s where I’m at in my life. This tie dye sweatshirt has the word “Extra” in white script in the top corner, and you know what that means! Go ahead and treat yourself to extra guac – you deserve it. There’s also a tiny little chili pepper on one of the sleeves.
