Lululemon introduced its shoe line in March 2022. Since then, they’ve been slowly racking up solid reviews on their website, further solidifying their already strong stance as one of the ultimate athletic wear providers. They didn’t just decide to start making shoes on a whim, they forged ahead with four solid years of research and development. This included an impressive 1,000,000 foot scans, to better provide the needs of each and every unique woman’s foot. Personally, I was dumbfounded to learn that women’s athletic shoes were basically a smaller version of men’s shoes, which didn’t totally take into account the specific needs of the female foot. Fun fact, not only are women’s feet narrower, but they are typically higher according to the study, which proposes a list of adjustments much needed for a woman’s shoe. Lululemon moved on to wear testing, to further round out the designs. Then it was time for the debut. Drum roll…

A solid choice for a winter run but still a great choice for all seasons, this tough shoe is showing off abrasion resistant mesh. Reflective elements add a little bit more visibility to your look, which is definitely a good thing when days are shorter, and nighttime comes on possibly during your after work run. The moisture wicking liner helps keep sweaty feet dry, and a mid foot frame supports that foot arch. As with all Lululemon shoes offered at this point, it is recommended that those with wide feet consider going up half a size.

All those colors— we are seriously in love! With dreamy names like vapor/highlight orange and brier rose/flare/pink mist foam, we probably don’t even need to tell you how gorgeous these are. Extra cushioning, also a Lululemon signature, provides support when landing after each gazelle like stride. These are your everyday neutral running shoe, with a seemingly effective pressure mapped outsole, which is described to increase traction.

Dual-density cushioning provides that motivating bounce every time you hit the pavement, while also ensuring impeccable support. Zones of stretch and support are thoughtfully put into place, to make your foot feel extra secure, which is a great feeling when gearing up for a tough work out. Like pretty much all Lululemon shoes, that dual-density cushioning has been utilized to add bounce and support. The water-resistant mesh makes this a good option for varying weather conditions. Chargefeel Winter may be great for cold weather, but is also an everyday neutral, all-season running and training shoe according to the description. You can expect those key Lululemon shoe elements, from flexibility, support, to traction. Reflective elements promote visibility when it’s not quite as light outside.

In addition to a solid line of running and training shoes, the company also developed a slide shoe, to wear in between all of that physical activity. Expect the typical features of a traditional slide, but slightly enhanced to Lululemon standard. A foam lined strap softly hugs the top of the foot, while giving off a simplistic vibe. The strap secures the foot onto a signature dual density cushioned base for comfort and impeccable support. Heel to toe rubber traction grips the ground better than your average flip-flop or slide on shoe. If you have a nice pair of basketball shoes you only want to touch the court, these are nice to wear around after the game.
